Monthly Meetings of the Longworth History Society

A series of regular monthly talks given by our guest speakers, lecturers, historians, authors and others who regularly appear in our programme to share their insights with us, take place at the Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor Village Hall, Draycott Road, Southmoor. During the Spring and Summer we hold outings usually with an historical theme.

Meetings are on the third Monday of each month (except August) at 7:30pm.We endeavour to cover as many local topics as possible, together with other subjects of interest to local historians.

Entry to meetings are included in the annual membership subscription of £10 for 12 meetings. Non-members are very welcome – entrance is £3.00

All talks take place in Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor Village Hall, on the third Thursday of the month. Timed for 7.15 for 7.30 start.

Please see news and articles in the latest Longworth Rose magazine available at meetings. Our ever popular Book stall and Library are available at our hall meetings for purchase and browsing/borrowing.
